Retail outlet Debenhams has announced that it will be taking up new Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.office space in Regent’s Place in the heart of London’s West End. The office space is located within a building owned by major property investment and development firm British Land. The site is a 13 acre estate and Debenhams will take up 145,ooo square feet of high quality office space.
Regent’s Place contains 1.5 million square feet of space that is used by a multitude of companies. The mixed use development features retail, residential, office and even leisure space. British Land have been developing the site for around 25 years and have worked in conjunction with reputable architect Sir Terry Farrell. The property is divided up into various sectors and British Land have got the space almost fully leased.
Commenting on the move and its benefits chief executive of Debenhams, Michael Sharp, said “We are delighted to have secured space at Regent’s Place for our new headquarters. The estate is well positioned in the West End with great communication links across London. It also provides outstanding amenities and sense of community for its occupants. We look forward to working with British Land and moving into the new offices in 2013.”
The building in which Debenhams are based features around 340,000 square foot of high quality space. The property itself isn’t fully developed yet and is expected to be complete in early 2013. Once completed the Regent’s Place development will offer commercial and residential space for an estimated 14,000 people.
